Step 1: Register

Register with the Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Program (MMP) using the Department of Health website. There you will create a profile in the Medical Marijuana Registry.

  • Date of Birth
  • Residential Address (matching your PA Drivers License or State ID)

Step 3: Pay for Your Card

Once you have been certified by an approved physician, the next step is to return to the Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Registry to purchase your medical marijuana card. Once purchased, your card will arrive in the mail around 7-10 days after completing the online process and payment.

Current Cost

The current price for a Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana card is $50. Patients who participate in assistance programs including Medicaid, PACE/PACENET, CHIP, SNAP, and WIC may be eligible for fee reductions.

That’s it!

Once all the steps above are completed, you can purchase medical marijuana at any licensed Pennsylvania dispensary using your MMP card.
